We finally made it. The dream for Samson Protection Services began in the summer of 2016. Me and my brother I sat on my deck smoking premium cigars, drinking whiskey, and listening to smooth jazz, as the warm August breeze gently rustled the trees. We sat talking about the state of the security guard industry and the reason clients were not happy. We noted that a security company should focus on employee quality rather than corporate profits. As we spoke, I proposed the question to my brother, "Why not start our own?" My brother responded, "You're right. Let's do it."

"...A SECURITY COMPANY SHOULD FOCUS ON EMPLOYEE QUALITY RATHER THAN CORPORATE PROFITS."

Jason and I spoke daily for the next several weeks and sketched out the plan for the company. As we spoke, we thought about a third partner and the qualifications that person would have. We settled on Marcus, a veteran police officer and supervisor. He was an easy pick and a perfect addition. The three of us could complete a management team with experience and knowledge unrivaled by any other company in the DC Metropolitan area. We met with Marcus and explained our vision. He was sold and quickly signed on. Our team was complete.

The three of us planned the company for a year as we researched the market, spoke with other security company owners, and gathered resources. Once planning was complete, we put the plan in action. We formed the company, met and voted on management positions, and moved forward with obtaining our license. Things were real now. The dream had become reality.

You all did an AWESOME!! job on the site. I like the blog aspect which sets you apart from other companies and not only allows customers to better understand the true vision of the company, but also allows the company to give back to the customer with various topics covered here.
