How it all began.....
The idea for Samson Protection Services was birthed after a conversation about the quality of services in the security industry between Kevin McIntyre and industry professionals. Kevin felt that industry players lacked a focus on quality security solutions and instead pursued profits, to the degradation of the entire industry. During this conversation, Kevin sought to change that problem. At that time, the company was just a dream.
After a full year of research, study, and acquiring resources, Kevin formed Samson Protection Services LLC - a company with a mission of providing world-class security solutions to clients across the country. The company is quickly becoming the premier security agency in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Kevin, a United States Army Combat Veteran and expert at legal and business management, eventually met Jonathan Brown, an accomplished veteran in the security guard industry, and sketched out the plan for a new private security company that would focus on quality product first and corporate profits second. Thomas Thompson, a detective with over 2o years experience and Lamar McIntyre, a former police officer with over ten years experience, eventually joined the Samson team. The dream quickly materialized.

Samson Protection Services was formed with the philosophy that high-quality security solutions could be offered at a fair price, all while maintaining a living wage for its employees. Its leaders believe that its guards, who are guided by the principles of competence and customer service, will lead the industry with superior execution and performance.
Samson Protection Services derives its name from the biblical character Samson, who stood for strength, determination, and security. These are the very characteristics which guide the company. These are the qualities clients receive.
